eFinLit was presented on the 17th of July in Barcelona, at the IEF premises. The Coordinator of the project at IEF Laura Rincón also reported about the presentation of eFinLIt at the Servei d'Ordenació Curricular de l'Educació d'Adults 

On the 24th of September a dissemination event was held in Padova, Italy, hosted by Cescot Veneto, including a presentation of the results of the Presentation of results of State of art and Gap Analysis Report in Italy and a short introduction to the work all the partners’ are now immersed, the preparation of the curriculum and modules of the eFinlit Project.

Taking into account the current global economic crisis, it seems urgent to inform teachers about new educational opportunities on financial literacy of young adults. On the 30th of September, CARDET presented the eFinLit project to 18 Cypriot teachers.

The escalating numbers of low income and unemployed young adults (18-35) constitute not only a current problem, but it’s a challenge to be dealt with in the years to come. This group of EU citizens is one of the largest disadvantaged groups in the European society, constituting almost the 35% (over 40% for some EU countries) of the total young adults in Europe.
